Anti-Spyware Software protects your computer

There are many ill-bred crooks and criminals out there who try to install malicious software and scripts on unsuspecting web surfers. Some of these "people" dress in three piece suits and try to parade as respectable "marketing" people. They are thieves who steal your browser's front page by re-setting it to their homepages without your knowledge or consent.

They are also the same thieves who may try to install Spyware on your computer - again without your knowledge. They can then monitor your computer, steal your passwords and more. If windows pop-up on your browser inviting you to install scripts or software, immediately disconnect your connection - don't press No or the "X" on the browser window. If your computer is acting in unexpected ways, they may already have installed scripts.

To be safe, install Anti-Spyware software from a respectable software vendor. You can then block attempts by the ill bred criminals from hijacking your computer. Note: a firewall or anti-virus is not enough - you need Anti-Spyware software to combat ill bred crooks.

After installation from a respectable vendor, you can clean your machine to delete any harmful scripts and software the criminals may have installed. Until the law catches up with the crooks, the only protection you have is to use reputable software.
